Internship Overview
The HR Specialist Internship provides students with a comprehensive understanding of human resources practices within a professional setting. Interns will work closely with the HR team to support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating interviews
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and assisting with training sessions.
Assist in addressing employee inquiries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive workplace environment..
Maintain and update employee records, ensure compliance with HR policies, and assist with HR documentation..
Help coordinate performance review processes, track employee progress, and assist in developing improvement plans.
Support the planning and execution of employee training and development programs.
Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and practices.
Internship Information
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Gain practical experience in various HR functions and processes.
